Scarlett Johansson - Biography

Scarlett Johansson first time recognised for her great performance in the Hollywood film The Horse Whisperer. It was directed by Robert Redford and she acted as Grace MacLean, the teen traumatized in a riding accident in that movie. It was her unforgottable performance.

More recently she had performed in Terry Zwigoff's film Ghost World as Rebecca Doppelmeyer earned her the Toronto Film Critics Association award for Best Supporting Actress. Recently she had starred in two films: one is Brian Robbin's The Perfect Score and the other is Peter Webber's Girl with a Pearl Earring.

In early age i.e when Scarlett Johansson was eight years old she made her professional acting debut in the off-Broadway production of "Sophistry" at New York's Playwrights Horizons. Her breakthrough performance role as Manny in Lisa Krueger's movie Manny & Lo earned her an Independant Sprit Award nomination for Best Female Lead.
