Born on 24 January, 1986 in London, England, Mischa Barton is a British born American actress. Mischa is popularly known for her role in FOX TV show "The O.C." and a role in "The Sixth Sense," as a young ghost seeking reparation.

At the age of nine, Mischa started her acting career with a lead role in Kushner's play "Slavs!". She appeared in many plays including "Twelve Dreams", "Where the Truth Lies" and "One Flea Spare".

In 1997, Mischa made her debut with film "Lawn Dogs" opposite Sam Rockwell. Since then appeared in many films including "Pups (1999)", "Notting Hill (1999)", "The Sixth Sense (1999)", "Skipped Parts (2000)", "Paranoid (2000)", "Tart (2001)", "Julie Johnson (2001)", and "Lost and Delirious (2001)".

In 2006, Mischa came with her most critically-acclaimed role in FOX TV show "The O.C.". Barton was also appeared in videos of James Blunt's "Goodbye My Lover" and Enrique Iglesias's video "Addicted". Barton has worked for several ads including Aéropostale, bebe, Dooney and Bourke, JC (Jeans and Clothes). She is currently appearing in Neutrogena print ads.
