Liv Tyler - Biography

Liv Tyler was born in New York on July 1st, 1977. Liv thought her dad was Todd Rundgren. After Liv's birth her parents get divorced. At the age of 9 Liv came to know that her father is Steven Tyler, who was at an Aerosmith concert.

At 14 Liv moved back to New York with her mother. A friend of her family and a famous model Paulina Porizkova suggest Liv to start modelling. Instantly Liv's career as a model sky-rocketed, and Liv found herself on the cover of big Magazines like Seventeen, Interview and Mirabella. After starting modelling she moved in to acting.

At just over five-foot-ten, endowed with blazing blue eyes and flawless porcelain skin, Liv has a unique natural sultry sophistication about her. Liv Tyler first became known to TV audiences when she starred alongside Alicia Silverstone in the Aerosmith music video Crazy in 1994. Later on, having been cast almost simultaneously for Silent Fall and Heavy.

By the age of 20, she had already starred in several successful movies, including Stealing Beauty, That Thing You Do! and Inventing the Abbotts. Although it was her appearance in Armageddon (which was released on her 21st birthday) that made her known to a very wide public, she has proven herself in more sophisticated acting challenges such as Onegin (based on the 19th century Russian novel Eugene Onegin by Alexander Pushkin), in which she convincingly portrayed the character of Tatyana Larina, and two movies directed by Robert Altman: Cookie's Fortune and Dr. T & the Women.

Liv Tylerstarred in the female star-studded Dr. T and the Women along with fellow celebrity progeny Kate Hudson, and will next be seen in the comedy, One Night at McCool's, as the scheming Jewel Valentine, as well as the first installment of the film trilogy, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, as Arwen Undomiel. Liv will be keeping rock 'n' roll in the family and will now be a rocker wife, after her Valentine's Day 2001 engagement to Royston Langdon, Spacehog's lead singer and bass player, and her steady of 3 years.
