Jessica Biel - Biography

Jessica's Family: Well known for her role as Mary Camden on the WB's drama series "7th Heaven", Jessica Biel was born on 03 March 1982 in Ely, Minnesota to Jonathan Edward Biel and Kimberly Conroe. Jessica raised in Boulder, Colorado, where her family was moved when she was young. Jessica has a younger brother Justin. Biel's family is of Irish, French, German, English and Choctaw Native American descent.

Early Career: Initially she was trained as a vocalist with the hope of performing in musical theater. Biel appeared in many musicals at the early age including "Annie", "The Sound of Music", "Anything Goes", and "Beauty and the Beast".

Jessica got the first attention when she was participated in the International Modeling and Talent Association's Los Angeles Convention in 1994. Her participation led to her being awarded a scholarship to the Young Actors Space, an acting society in Los Angeles. From then she started her career as a teen print model and spent two years as teen model.

Acting Career: Jessica's acting career starts in 1996, when she landed for the role of Mary Camden on the WB's family drama series "7th Heaven". It was the most popular and the long running series, running from 1996 to 2002.

Although her acting career starts at the very next year in 1997, with "Ulee's Gold" alongside Peter Fonda. For this film Jessica own the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film as Supporting Young Actress. In 1998 she appeared in "I'll Be Home for Christmas" opposite teen Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Jessica turned her attention to movies geared to teens and young adults which includes: "Summer Catch" (2001), "The Rules of Attraction" (2002) and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003). The later year she appeared in "Cellular" (2004) alongside Kim Basinger, and "Blade: Trinity" (2004) alongside Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds.

Year 2005 was look like a busy year for Jessica with her projects: "Elizabethtown" with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst, "Stealth" as fighter pilot Kara Wade with Jamie Foxx and Josh Lucas, and "London".

Jessica's upcoming projects include "The Illusionist" which will release in August 18, 2006, while 2007 projects include and "Next" as a Liz, and "Home of the Brave".

Jessica's Personal Life
Jessica is dating actor Chris Evans since 2002. They together starred in the films London and Cellular.
