Born on April 9, 1987 in Westchester County, NY, USA Jesse McCartney is a pop & R&B singer, musician and actor. Jesse was best known for his album "Beautiful Soul".

Before starting his singing career, Jesse has tried his hand on acting. At start he was appeared in community plays with the whole family. While made his own acting debut with "The King and I". Also appeared in "A Christmas Carol". Later he joined the children's group "Sugar Beats" as a vocalist. There album "How Sweet It Is (1998)", was nominated for a Grammy. Played J.R. Chandler in "All My Children". Jesse was also the member of "boy band Dream Street" from 2000 to 2002.

Jesse's first debut album was "JMac" released in 2003 contains song "Beautiful Soul". The later album named "Beautiful Soul" was released in 2004 contains four songs. This album was reached #2 on AOL Music, while the video have been voted into the top 10 fifty times and received #4 position on MTV.

This young talent is now appearing in film "Keith", playing a role as Keith along with Margo Harshman and Elisabeth Harnois. The film is going to be out in 2006. Jesse is also preparing a song, "Blow Your Minds", which will release as a single in June of 2006, while the album will release in September 12th, 2006. Also he is giving voice for Roxas for the video game Kingdom Hearts II.

Jesse is currently dating with Katie Cassidy, daughter of former teen idol David Cassidy.
