Eminem was born on October 17, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He was born as Marshall Bruce Mathers III. He was born to Marshall Mathers Jr. and Deborah Mathers - Briggs. He has a half brother named Nathan, was born 1986.

On June 14 1999, Eminem married with Kimberly Anne Scott and divorced on 11 October 2001. He remarried with Kimberly Anne Scott on 14 January 2006. Eminem and his wife Kimberly Anne Scott first met at one of his friend's houses, when Eminem was fifteen and Kim was thirteen. He has a daughter, Haile Jade Scott was born December 25, 1995. He also adopted one child, Alaina Matthers III.

Eminem's early childhood involved a lot of traveling between Kansas City and Metro Detroit. At the age of 15, his father abandoned the family and the two have not had contact since.
