Elizabeth Hurley was born on June 10, 1965, in Hampshire, England, United Kingdom. She is well known actress, model and a film producer. She is daughter of an army officer father and an elementary schoolteacher mother. She grew up in suburb of Basingstoke, England.

Her desire as youth was to become a great dancer. At the age of 12 her parents sent her to the private school for ballet practice. She soon returns home. When she returned to home she was of 16 years old. Then Elizabeth Hurley joined college and won a scholarship to the London Studio Centre which taught courses for dance and theater.

She became a punk rock girl with pink spiked hair and a nose ring. But very soon she changed her image changed her style to one that was castable for getting jobs. She described as a diamond in rough. She became a famous model for Estee Lauder and makes a way to enter in the Hollywood.

At the age of 21, i.e. in 1987 she made her first film debut by doing a role in Bruce Beresford's movie "Aria". She also did roles in the BBC's serial Christabel (1988). Doing few roles in television she met Hugh Grant, the young actor of the film Remando al Viento (1987).

Later Hugh Grant became Elizabeth Hurley's beau. In 1992 she made her Hollywood film debut as a terrorist in the Wesley Snipes action drama Passenger 57. But her career didn't take off and she was disappointed and returned to England. After that in 1994 she appeared at the London premier of Four Weddings and a Funeral with Hugh Grant.

Her most famous movies are The Cleaner (2007), Method (2004), Dawg (2003), Austin Powers (1999), Dangerous Ground (1997), Passenger 57 (1992), Aria (1988), Rowing with the wind (1987).

Besides her acting career she also the head of the production for Simian Films. It was formed by herself and her boyfriend Hugh Grant in 1994. She produced her first movie Extreme Measures (1996) and the film is the first film produced by Simian films.

After that Elizabeth Hurley produced Mickey Blue-Eyes (1999) and Method (2004). In addition to her work as spoke model and producer she continues her acting career with many roles. She appeared in various films that were released within a year of each other, My Favorite Martian, Ed TV, Austin Powers 2 - The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Permanent Midnight.
