Daisy Fuentes was born November 17, 1966, in Havana, Cuba. Her father, Amado Fuentes was a real-estate broker and mother, Maria Fuentes was a housewife. At the age of three, her family moved to Spain, Madrid, and finally emigrated to Harrison, New Jersey. Daisy has a sister, Rosana Fuentes is an advertising copywriter and was born on 1972.

In 1984, Daisy Fuentes was graduated from Harrison High School (Hudson County) New Jersey. Daisy was homecoming queen in high school. After the school, Fuentes studied communications and journalism at Bergen Community College. In 1985, Daisy's career was started after selecting as a news reporter and anchor for the evening news on WXTV Channel 41, Univision'sNew York affiliate.

In 1990, Daisy Fuentes was married with Timothy Adams (actor) and divorced in 1994. Timothy Adams was Daisy's high school sweetheart. In 1991, Daisy Fuentes met Luis Miguel (singer) and was together from 1995 to 1998). And currently in 2004, she was engaged to British singer Matt Goss.

From 1994 to 1995, Daisy hosted her own talk show, Daisy, on CNBC. For the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital charity, Daisy Fuentes played on the World Poker Tour in the Hollywood Home games. She has been a spokesmodel for Revlon, M&M's, Pantene, American Express, and Miller Lite.
