Catherine Zeta Jones - Biography

Catherine Zeta-Jones borned in Swansea, West Glamorgan, Wales, UK on 25^th September 1969. Catherines father Dai Jones who was formarly working for a candy factory, and mother Pat Jones was dress-maker. Catherine became a singer and dancer in her early age due to her membership in local Catholic's congregation aspirant dramatic society.

At the age of 11, Catherine performed as a leading role in a production of the musical Annie, and two years later casted in a West End production of Bugsy Malone. At the age of 15 catherine left studying and was relocated to London in search of name and fame in film industry, and her luck knocks her door by performing in "42nd Street" she came into limelight.

After that Catherine travelled to France, at wherer she performed in a leading role for the movie "Scheherazade" directed by Phillippe De Broca, which was her film debute. In 1991 Catherine returned to UK having been offered to work in the new Yorkshire TV series "The Darling Buds of May". Catherine become famouse, favorite and regularly rewarded by paparazzi. Catherine Zeta-Jones decided to take her life and career across the Atlantic.

In 1992 Catherine Zeta-Jones subsequently participated in the film "Christopher Columbus: The Discovery". n 1992, Catherine was also performed in "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles". At this time Catherine had long time affair with American producer Jon Peters. Zeta-Jones was casted the role in CBS's "Return of the Native" in 1994, and gave a remarkable performance in her role as Catherine in the miniseries Catherine the Great.

Caterine Zeta-Jones was noted by Steven Spielberg and he favored catherine to perform as the leading role in "Mask of Zorro" to the director Martin Campbell in 1998. And her performance in this movie was appriciated by audiences and critics. In 1999 Zeta-JOnes performed in "Entrapment" starred with Sean Connery. More films followed like The Haunting, High Fidelity and then the block-buster "Traffic" starred with her hubby Michael Douglas.

In 1999 Catherine Zeta-Jones and actor Michael Douglas fall in love with each other, and in January 2000 they engageed. On the 9th August 2000 Catherine gave birth their son, Dylan Michael Douglas, and they married later in November 2000.
