50 Cent's Biography

Famous rap singer 50 Cent's birth name is Curtis James Jackson III who was born on 6th July 1975 and raised in the South side of Jamanica, Queens, New York. He is the popular African-American gangster rapper whose two albums "Get Rich or Die Tryin" and "The Massacre" were super hit all over the world.

He was raised in very poor circumstances by his mother after the death of his father. His mother was a drug dealer. When 50 cent was 8 years old his mother was murdered in a drug deal. After that 50 cent was raised by his grandparents. He was worked in the drug trade hustling of his native neighborhood Boo Boo.

He was stabbed and shotted 9 times because of this 50 Cent built his career by singing with major record dealers. He featured in the video Incarcerated Scarfaces first time.

After, 50 Cent signed Jam Master Jay's label to write his all music. Then after some time he moved from Jam Master Jay and joined with hip-hop production duo Track Masters. In 1999 he signed Columbia Records. His controversial single "How to Rob" was very famous on radio.

Once 50 Cent had worked with McGriff and the Supreme Team and they were not satisfied by his work. His first debut album The Power of Dollar was so popular and after that immediately on 24 May 2000 50 Cent leaves Columbia Records after shot by the team.

Then 50 Cent signed a joint contract between Eminem's Shady Records and Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment. 50 Cent worked Eminem and Dr. Dre and produce his upcoming debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin'. Each of them produced a few tracks for the highly awaited album. In the first week of release his debut sold 872,000 units of Get Rich or Die Tryin album.

In February 2005 50 Cent appeared in the episodes of The Simpsons entitled, "Pranksta Rap". A video game in which 50 Cent was starred called 50 Cent: Bulletproof also available n the PlayStation 2, the Xbox, and the PlayStation Portable. He was also starred in semi-autobiographical 2005 film Get Rich or Die Tryin' directed by Jim Sheridan with Joy Bryant and Terrence Howard.
